Alexander Lubotzky

Headshot of Alexander LubotzkyAlexander Lubotzky is a mathematician who is currently a Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science and an Adjunct Professor at Yale University. In 2018, he won the Israel Prize for his accomplishments in mathematics and computer science. Professor Lubotzky is currently one of the very top current researchers working both in fundamental mathematics and applications to networks and coding theory. Professor Lubotzky has received an honorary doctoral degree from the University of Chicago, has been elected to the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and is currently a member of the selection committee for the Abel Prize.
