Crafted in 2018, Western University’s Open Space Strategy is a forward-thinking initiative aimed at enhancing the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of outdoor spaces across its campus. Anchored by the "10 Big Moves", the guide is rooted in principles of inclusivity, environmental stewardship, and community engagement, the strategy envisions a campus where green spaces are not only functional but also foster well-being, learning, and connection.
