Project Summary
Alumni Hall is home to Western’s multi-purpose venue for basketball, volleyball and other indoor sports and events.
Beginning in May 2026, Alumni Hall will be renovated to modernize and improve the space for future student-athlete and university use. This includes using Alumni Hall as a temporary classroom until the Bioconvergence project is complete.
Upgrades will include:
- New technology such as video boards.
- New gym flooring for games and events.
- Improved seating for students and guests.
- Improved accessibility to mezzanine level.
- Modernized mechanical system – new air handling units (AHUs).
- Improved public washroom facilities on first floor.
