Benefit Claim Deadlines
Under the provisions of your Extended Health & Dental plans, Health Care Spending Account (if applicable) and your Wellness Spending Account (if applicable) there are deadlines you should note:
Extended Health and Dental Plan Claims
- Expenses incurred in the year 2026 must be claimed by January 31, 2028.
- Expenses incurred in the year 2025 must be claimed by January 31, 2027.
Health Care Spending Account and Wellness Spending Account Claims (if applicable)
All claims should be submitted during the same plan year in which you paid the expense. However, your HCSA has a 90-day grace period, which allows up to 90 days after December 31 for Manulife to receive expenses incurred during the previous year.
Online claims can be submitted by logging in at the Manulife Plan Member site. All claim submissions received at Manulife after the dates listed above will not be eligible for reimbursement.

There are a few options to utilize your Health Care Spending Account if Manulife has a claim on file and you have not been reimbursed 100% of the expense, such as:
- use the Pay remainder with HCSA link within your claim details under Next steps
- call Manulife at 1-866-896-8515 or use the online chat
- submit a paper claim
For reimbursement from your Wellness Spending Account, use the Group Benefits Taxable Wellness Spending Account form.
