Research

I teach and research in the fields of Indigenous and Canadian literary and cultural studies. Within these fields, I have published on a variety of topics, including critiques of ethnographic photography and film as well as settler state cultures of reconciliation. I am currently writing a book about Indigenous reparations movements in Canada over the past several decades. I also teach as a cross-listed faculty member in the Indigenous Studies Program and I am a member of Western's Centre for Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction. I supervise graduate students pursuing research in the fields of Canadian literary and cultural studies, Indigenous literary and cultural studies, and settler colonial studies.
