Rates and Privileges
Campus Recreation has simplified its membership options in order to serve you better! Most memberships are now offered with a monthly, semesterly (one or two), or annual option.
We are a cashless operation. Please ensure you have credit or debit available for your purchase.
A physical piece of Government photo ID is required for every Membership purchase and renewal and every day pass purchase.
As of August 27, 2023, Western Campus Recreation will no longer be accepting the "Free Day Pass" passes that were handed out prior to March 2020.

WESTERN STUDENTS, STAFF & FACULTY:
Your HID iClass enabled Western ID card is also your Campus Recreation membership card and gives you access to all the recreational facilities. Please bring your card with you on every visit; it's just a matter of scanning your card at Membership Services. Members who have forgotten their Western ID or Membership Card are allowed two free "look ups" per term (September-December, January-April and May-August). Members will be charged $3 for all subsequent look ups, which will reset at the start of every term. Regular full-time staff/faculty may purchase annual memberships, towel service, and locker service.
WESTERN ALUMNI:
As a Western Alumnus you are entitled to a special discounted membership to Campus Recreation and the Western Student Recreation Centre. Be sure to get a copy of your Alumni Card to take advantage of these (and other) alumni rewards. You can request your card or find out more information about the Alumni Card and Rewards program here.
GENERAL PUBLIC / COMMUNITY:
General public constitutes any individuals who are not affiliated with Western University (e.g. not Western students, staff/faculty, or alumni). Community members looking to purchase a WSRC membership must be at least 16 years of age and provide government issued photo ID at time of purchase; no exceptions. Those who previously purchased an annual membership may use their day passes.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION OPTION FOR WESTERN STAFF/FACULTY**:
Regular full-time (RFT) staff/faculty are eligible to purchase a $35/month Campus Recreation membership using Payroll Deduction. Those interested must visit the WSRC Welcome Desk and will be charged for the full month, regardless of the date they purchase the membership within that month. If staff/faculty wish to cancel their Campus Recreation membership, they should email campusrec@uwo.ca with their full name and staff number. Staff will be charged for the remainder of that month. Payroll deduction has a minimum of a one year committment.
Please note that Campus Recreation memberships are the only transactions eligible for payment via payroll deduction. Locker sales, towel service and program registration must be purchased via electronic payment methods (VISA, Mastercard, Debit) or cash at the Welcome Desk.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Memberships may be purchased seven days a week at Membership Services (in the Western Student Recreation Centre). We accept electronic payment methods (VISA, Mastercard, Debit); we do not accept cash.
