    UPDATE Nov 8, 2022: The pool will be reopening for general access starting at 11am today, November 8. Please check the hours page for pool schedule and hours of operation. ------------------------------- The Campus Recreation pool is currently closed for general use until further notice due to low chemical levels. We are going to slowly reopen for specific programming and hope to reopen for general swim as soon as we are able. Unified is a program in partnership with the Special Olympics that focuses on providing the opportunity for individuals with and without intellectual disability to play on the same team.     Drop In Sports Unavailable July 22-24, 2022

    Drop in Sports will be temporarily impacted by the MS Bike Tour utilizing the the upper WSRC gymnasiums and ongoing construction on the floors in the lower WSRC gymnasiums.     Update to Western's Covid Policy - Masking in WSRC

    Effective immediately, masks will no longer be required indoors at Western, Brescia University College, Huron University, and King's University College at Western University until further notice, with a few exceptions (including the July 4-8 graduation celebrations in Alumni Hall). Public health continues to encourage the use of masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please respect those who choose to continue to wear masks.     2022 OPSE League of Legends Champions

    The Western Mustangs League of Legends esports team took home the OPSE League of Legends Championship last week against the Waterloo Warriors in a clean sweep. With the win, the Western team are finally back on top after falling short to the University of Toronto last year 3-1 in what was an otherwise undefeated season. Danny Qiao, known as 'loyal' in-game, was named MVP of the championship, to which he deflects the honour to the rest of his team.  (Read full entry)
