Move Your Mood

Move Your Mood is Western’s free, inclusive, non‑clinical initiative supporting mental and physical well‑being through recreation-based events and programming that focus on movement, mindfulness, creativity, and community connection. Funded by the Parr Family Grant, Move your Mood offers FREE fun, accessible opportunities for students to de‑stress, recharge, and thrive together. 

Western’s mental wellness initiative invites students to explore inclusive, movement-based events designed to reduce stress, build connections, and promote balance. From weekly meditation Tuesdays to glow in the dark yoga, Spikeball tournaments, fitness workshops, and a wellness fair—there’s something for every mood and moodmaker this year.

Free Winter 2026 Social Events

We’re making changes to help more students participate in our high-demand Move Your Mood social sporting events. To improve access and reduce no-shows, registration for all social sporting events will now open 7 days prior to each event.

Preregistration is still required and opens one week in advance. Registering allows you to receive important updates, reminders, and event details.

All events will continue to operate on a first come, first served basis at the door. This approach helps reduce empty spots and supports a more inclusive and fair experience for everyone.

We encourage you to register early once registration opens and arrive early on the day of the event to secure your spot.
