Fit lanes are 25m Short Course Sunday-Thursday and Saturdays.
Fit lanes are 50m Long Course on Fridays.

DROP-IN SPORTS
We offer a variety of drop-in sports including badminton, basketball, futsal, pickelball, squash (reservations required) and volleyball. A full list of available drop-in sports and associated hours/locations can be found on the Western Rec App or on the calendar at shop.westernmustangs.ca (located at the bottom of the main page). Drop-in times may differ from week-to-week so members are encouraged to check prior to visiting the WSRC.
Indoor shoes MUST be worn inside the facility and the gyms.
Members must bring their own squash or badminton racquets, pickleball paddles and balls. Other sport equipment is available at the rental desk.
*Closed for Western Holidays & any early closures noted above will also impact drop-in sports.
Note: All drop-in gym programming closes 30 minutes prior to building closing times.

NOTE: From September 14 - October 2, 2026 students may use the outdoor track at Western Alumni Stadium. After Oct 5, jogging hours move to Thompson Recreation Athletic Centre (TRAC).
