Awards & Distinctions

The Awards & Distinctions portfolio in Western Research revolves around recognizing and promoting the scholarly achievements of outstanding Western faculty in all disciplines and at all career stages. Many awards are associated with substantial monetary prizes and all are associated with significant prestige. Success in these programs raises the profile of individuals, their departments, their Faculties, and the university. This is accomplished by:

communicating information about award opportunities and deadlines
liaising with award agencies
utilizing Western's foundation of research excellence and resources
coordinating submission of award nomination and application packages
publicizing and celebrating success
