J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine 2024

Robarts Research Institute awards the annual J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine to an individual or individuals who have made significant contributions to a field of basic or clinical research in one of the Institute's principal areas of research. Each year a topic is selected.  The 2024 Prize will be granted to a scientist who has made outstanding contributions in the area of The Science of AgingThe prize consists of a $50,000 reward, an engraved medal and a framed certificate. 

The Nomination Process

A full nomination package will consist of:

  • a letter of nomination outlining the nominee's contributions to the specific research theme
    • must include clear descriptions of the work that has had a major impact on the field and the extent of the translational impact of that work on clinical populations
  • a current CV in any format

A committee of internal and external experts will assess nominees to identify the prize winner or winners.
