Tang Prize �� 2016 Competition

The Tang Prize was established in 2012 to recognize and support scholars for their revolutionary efforts in the four major fields of Sustainable Development, Biopharmaceutical Science, Sinology, and Rule of Law. The prize is awarded on a biennial basis, each with a cash reward of US $1.33 million. Research projects proposed by the laureates also receive a grant of up to US $0.33 million.

The Prize Categories

Sustainable Development

Recognizes those who have made extraordinary contributions to the sustainable development of human societies, especially through groundbreaking innovations in science and technology.

Nomination consists of:

A nomination form
A Citation of up to 20 words
Description of outstanding accomplishments (max. 2 pages)
Record of major professional work experience
List of honours and awards
List of 5 most significant publications
3 letters of reference

Submission Process

Nomination forms and supporting documents are to be sebt to the Tang Prize Selection Committee via registered air mail or DHL in the return envelope provided to RD&S. Electronic submission are not accepted.

Deadline

The final submission deadline is September 30, 2015 (postmarked).
