October 19, 2023: EVENT ALERT! Music for Climate Action

Tempo! Music for Climate Action concert is scheduled for October 27th at 12:30 in the Paul Davenport Theatre (Western University)

Historic temperature records tell the story of a warming planet-- but is data enough to inspire collective action?  The Tempo! Project brings together musicians, environmental scientists, engineers, and social scientists who use the power of music to motivate climate action. 

Please join us for a special concert organized by Tempo founder Dr. Lucy Jones and the Don Wright Faculty of Music, featuring performances by Western University Singers and Les Choristes.  This concert is supported by the Western Academy for Advanced Research as part of the Climate-resilient Infrastructure and Buildings (CRIB) research theme.  

Want to learn more?  The concert will be followed by a special lecture by Dr. Lucy Jones, as part of the Graduate Music Colloquia series.  All are welcome!  More information below:
