Alumna Lijia Liu Wins Soochow University Excellent Award
We are pleased to announce that, Prof. Lijia Liu, a former graduate student from the Department of Chemistry and a colleague of the Soochow-Western Centre for Synchrotron Radiation Research in Soochow University has been selected as a recipient of the "Soochow University Excellent Young Scholar". It is a university award to support young scientists who have potential to make great scientific accomplishment with research grant and salary benefits. Lijia received her PhD from Western in 2012, was the recipient of the Mike Bancroft PhD Thesis award of the Canadian Light Source, joined Soochow University in 2013 after one year PDF in Prof. Tim Kelly's lab in the Department of Chemistry, University of Saskatchewan.
