Scope of Service
Although our primary focus is to meet the needs of the Chemistry Department we also work for others both on and off campus.
Rates
Chemistry Department - $20.00 per hour
Other Departments - $40.00 per hour
External Academics - $80.00 per hour
External Commercial/Industrial/Government - $150.00 per hour
Requests for parts or labour on a UWO research account will need to have a Delegation of Signing Authority Form filled out and filed at Research Finance. If you have already done this for Mustang Market or ChemBioStores, you do not need to do it again through the Electronic Shop. The Electronic Shop has been approved to utilize either Mustang Market or ChemBioStores purchase authorizations.

Hours
The normal work hours of the electronics shop is from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, weekdays.
The shop is open for in-person consultations between 10:00 am - noon and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, weekdays. If the shop staff are not available during usual business hours, in the event of an emergency, contact the Chemistry Chair’s Office.
